Well the series finale of Law and Order has just concluded. And may I tell you that it was a perfect ending! After all of the drama of hearing of the cancellation of the show, and rumors of maybe a future season, it was nice to just finally watch it and close the series with a very nice bow on top!
True, what was supposed to only be the season finale, it had a feeling that even though the story we could see was over, many more could be written by these detectives and prosecutors.
Personally Dick Wolf, I thought it was a great send off, even though it wasn't your intention. I know you wanted to beat Gunsmoak, but guess what? It beats it in the eyes of the loyal fans that has supported this show and all of the others in the past 20 years! Be proud, and know that the journey is not over with!!
Now we are down to Law and Order: Criminal Intent, SVU, and the new LOLA that is coming up this fall. While SVU is being renewed for a 12th season, CI may be on the rocks and near a sudden cancellation just like the mothership. And LOLA may not be recieved well by the old L&O fans. But, I do ask all of you to continue the L&O support by watching these remaining show. This is all we have left, so let's keep the spirit alive!!
I hope to see some comments about all of your Law and Order stories!!

Axed
I know I promised to talk about some of the hottest sites on the net right now, but another topic has come up that I think you would all like to read about.
On Thursday night, or maybe even earlier, we recieved word that the 'Law and Order' mothership series could be at risk of being cancelled. Most of us really just shrugged it off because we assumed Dick Wolf was still set on making the record, beating 'Gunsmoke' as the longest drama ever aired.
But we found out very quickly that these rumors were in fact true, and the series finale would air May 24th. Many of the Law and Order fans were in total shock. Some even have questioned the chances of the fellow Law and Order series, SVU and CI of being on the chopping block as well. While we are assured that SVU will be renewed for a 12th season, USA Network is still deciding if they will be ordering a 10th season of CI.
We have also learned that the recent decision to get rid of L&O is to make way for Wolf's new idea; Law and Order: LA. While NBC is excited about putting the mothership in the past and putting LOLA in the future, fans don't think that it will last long.
Even though Criminal Intent remains my favorite one out of the three, it was still a blow to hear that the mothership was leaving. I also question how well they will send off the show. Because they have been advertising for 24th air date to be the season finale, not the series. Which means that they may need to tweak it to give the show a finishing touch. Otherwise, they may see alot of fans camping out at NBC headquarters all over the country!
What do you think about all of this recent changes? This isn't the first time this year that we have seen massive changes. Let's not forget the cast changes of Criminal Intent that has sent fans in an uproar. So do you think this new change will effect the other shows and potentially the new upcoming show? Post your comments!
