Hiatus

Hello everyone! I have returned. And before I continue, Happy Easter! I know some of you have probably been waiting for a new post from me. Things have just been crazy. School and work have taken up a lot of my time, and with the spare time that I have left, I have been working on a special project, which I will let you in on in a bit.

The end of the school semester is just around the corner. And it could not come any quicker. I have a ton of crap that I will be more than happy to get off of my shoulders. Remember me complaining about my spanish class? Well I dropped it. The pressure was at an all time high, and my teacher continued to be vague on my progress. And then there is my health class, where my teacher keeps on saying that the majority of the class will never amount to anything. And then I have my English class where my teacher takes off 11 points for punctuation. How fair is that?

Anyways, wanna know why I haven't been talking much on here, other than school? After my last post, talking about the breakup between Delta Goodrem and Brian McFadden, I somehow came across some inspiration to start back on my book idea. Remember tha one? It was the one I started to write in October, and told you that you wouldn't find out about it? Well, this is the one.

I don't know where this inspiration came from, but more ideas came to mind for the book, and I just started writing again. And it has been great. I have been writing 2 pages a day, a small commitment to keep me on track with the progress. And so far, I have been doing well with writing faithfully. Unfortunately, with all of this school stuff, I haven't written in a whole week! But I know that as soon as school ends, I'm gonna be back on it and writing like crazy.

Wanna know what the book is about? Well yet again, sorry, no details on this. But don't you worry, I am already a 5th of the way on my projected length of the book, so you may be able to read it soon! I am hoping that if I stick to my 2 pages a day, I could have this thing finished by the end of the summer. Who knows.

Well guys, it has been fun. I just wanted to let you know that I haven't died or anything. I have no idea when or what I will be writing in the future. I do know that I am tweeting more often to keep up with you all, so keep following! Glad to talk to you all!

Breakup

Breaking News! Delta Goodrem and Brian McFadden decided to call it quits yesterday. And no, it is now an April Fool's trick. An official statement was released and has shocked many fans from both Delta and Brian. Word has now spread across the globe, and many fans are wondering about the future for the two, and if this recent news will push back their current projects.

I woke up yesterday with this shocking news on my phone that Delta and Brian had called off their relationship of 7 years, and engagement of 4 years. Delta Daily is what broke in the news, and media spread it soon after that. Many fans, including myself have been shocked beyond belief that the "Brelta" duo has parted ways.

Their official statment said:

"Delta Goodrem and Brian McFadden regretfully announce that they are no longer engaged, and after much consideration, have mutually decided to end their relationship. This decision has been made with a lot of soul searching from both parties with the realisation that they have grown apart. They leave the partnership with respect for one and other, wishing each other success and happiness for the future.

Delta and Brian appreciate there will be interest regarding this announcement but request that their time together is respected and they are given privacy during this time of transition."

Brian quickly released his own personal farewell, saying "i love delta and always will. She is one of gods living angels. I thank her for giving me the best years of my life. Please give us time x". This post has gotten 100+ retweets. So far Delta has not comment on this recent news.

Many Delta fans on the Official forum was shocked, with deltarulesaus saying "I don't think I saw that coming! I thought it was an april fools, but it seems legit as nowhere in the article does it say april fools" and delbrit saying "Better be a f'ing april fools joke or even a publicity stunt. Almost 6 years of togetherness, gone forever! *is upset* *cries* I didn't call it! *is selfish* Damn, that's gonna push the record back even further. She's going to take even more time off, and we'll get it in like 2014!"

So now there is speculation why the couple broke up. While there was nothing going on that could suspect this, the recent outrage by Brian's recent actions may be a factor. The flight incident, and the nicknamed "Date-Rape" song may have well been factors. Or it could have been the distances apart for long amounts of time.

When asked about marriage in a March 29th article, Brian said, "We haven't even talked about it. It definitely won't be in Ireland or England and probably won't be in the US, it's more likely to be in Australia. I'm getting asked all the time 'when are you getting married?' It's as simple as this - we just haven't set a date yet." This just begs the question, was this split already in the works, or was it just as sudden for them as it was for us?

Now remains the question about their future. And yes, fears are that this split may push releases from both Delta and Brian. And I can be the first in saying that we would prefer anymore detours to this anticipated album! But at the same time, we want Delta take all the time she needs during this time. But apart of me thinks that both with submerge in their music to help cope. I'm sure we will find out very soon!

I really hate that this happened. This couple seemed like one of the few that would make it. But everything happens for a purpose, and we all must accept that. All we can do now is show our support for the two, and wait to hear more from them.

We love you Delta and Brian!

Amen

Can I get an amen people? Well you will be screaming for "Amen" soon! Remember me talking about the rising band Eden's Edge? Well they have released their official debut single, and it rocks. They have been on the "Watch List" for 2011, and with good reason. I have kept track of their progress, and they are quickly rising to the top. And there has been some other things that has started their shoot to fame!

Last time I talked about EE, it was just after I had heard an amazing performance from the group during their opening for Randy Travis. And like I said, I got to meet them, got my picture with them, and got a CD with some of their early work. I admit, I am not a country fan, nor do I think I ever will be, but I knew that these guys were going to be great!

From their CD, the songs "Kiss Me" and "Swinging Door" has constantly rung in my head. And I was anticipating that one of those two were going to be their first single. I was down that neither would be the single, but was quickly relieved to find out that they wrote a song with the capacity and popularity of those two songs.

"Amen" is just a good song all around. It is fun to listen to, makes you want to dance. And throughout the chorus you can tell the song is climaxing! And their voices coming together just gives you goosebumps!! And the message is so interesting, and so not what you expect out of the title "Amen". I actually laughed when I found out why they were saying amen.

Throughout the last months, they have been touring radio stations throughout the country to promote the single. And they have actually gotten major attention. They announced the exciting news that they would be touring with Brad Paisley, a very popular artist. And where else would Brad introduce this group for the first time? Nowhere else but the famous Grand Ole Opry! Yes, they performed on stage, and they were so excited about it! And I know that had to have gotten them some attention.

And since the release of the single on radio, I have been hearing of people requesting it all over the nation, and many stations putting it on polls for favorite song. That is pretty amazing for only having released it earlier this week.

If you want to buy the single "Amen", you can buy it here. I was suprised to find out that the single hasn't been put on iTunes yet, since that is where many buy their songs. But I thought it was worth it to buy it! And I promise all of you will agree! So buy it now!!

So I suggest you follow this amazing band on Twitter! To follow, you can click here. And I suggest you follow them, because they are going to be the next thing!!

Eden's Edge, or Hannah, Dean and Cherrill, I don't need to wish you luck, because I know you are going to rise to fame real quick! I love your single, and I'm going to promote it all I can! I can't wait for your album, and I hope to see you again soon in North Carolina!
