Born This Way

Today I'm going to be like every other blog and article in the world right now. Everybody has been talking about the new single by Lady Gaga, and now it is my time to give my two sense. The single is called "Born This Way" and so far it is taking the world by storm.

The hype for this song has been going on for weeks. Like I have talked in the past, #BornThisWayFriday was the trending topic on twitter for some time. All the fans had was the erotic cover artwork of Gaga and the lyrics text to keep them full for the time being. But they were already hungry for more.

Immediately the song has skyrocketed. I know it was released on the 11th, and by the time I got back from class it was already #1 on iTunes. And word was going around that it is #1 in 23 countries. That is pretty impressive. But not only that, each country has thousands of reviews and probably tens of thousands if not millions of sales.

I think the song has recieved mixed to positive reveiws. For the majority, the song has recieved positive reviews with comments like "Best Gay song since "I will Survive"" and comments like that. For me, I am in the mixed review section. While the song is good, I think that it isn't her best work. I think "Bad Romance" is her best. But don't worry, because "Bad Romance" is a hard song to top. But I can tell that this is probably the best song to some people.

But besides the reviews saying that it is for the gay community gay rights, I think it is for everybody right now. It has a good message by saying that we are all who we are and made by God, so don't judge. It is a perfect message for right now because of everything going on, and I think Gaga recognized that and decided to put it in song.

So Gaga, you have stormed the music industry again, and I don't think you are even close to finishing. I just look forward to the song you do release that tops "Bad Romance".
