Are the rumors true? That is the big question for Australia right now. Fans of Brian McFadden, and even Delta Goodrem are wondering what all happened on a flight from LA to Australia that involved the federal police. It buzzed on the web quickly, and made it into other media, making it a frenzy for McFadden.

According to the AFP, (Australian Federal Police) "The AFP can confirm it responded to a request from Virgin Airlines to attend a flight, which was arriving at Sydney International Airport.The AFP attended the gate when the aircraft arrived and spoke to Virgin Airlines staff. Two men were subsequently spoken to by Police."

Those two are rumored to be of course Brian McFadden and Kyle Sandilands. According to 3AW News Talked, "Passengers and staff on a Virgin flight from LA to Sydney this morning have spoken of a drunken rampage by former boy band singer Brian McFadden. Witnesses say McFadden was drinking heavily and abused flight attendants and fellow passengers, and was smoking on the flight. Virgin Blue has confirmed there was an incident on flight VA-2 but won't comment further as it's currently a Federal Police matter."

There is also a recording of a reported asking Brian McFadden if he was smoking on the plane and he said that he didn't smoke, which we know that he does. And there were also rumors that he was heavily drunk and abusing staff.

Delta Goodrem, my idol, and McFadden's fiance broke the silence by saying on Twitter, "Whatever people have said that happened Didnt!! slow news day hehe! xx" and, "Sorry to burst your bubble wasnt detained! All the best!"

I love Delta to death, but we cannot deny that something would have had to happen to have the pilot get AFP on standby. Brian has denied the allegations, saying on Twitter, "wasn't arrested! didn't smoke on the flight. and the virgin staff were very nice. i did have a few drinks but i was not smashed and abusive, thats all folks, if reports were true then i would have been arrested, fined and wosrt! banned from my favorite airline v australia. storm in a tea cup." And then today he said in an interview, "Takes a lot more than a couple of drinks to get me drunk, I'm an Irishman."

Whether he is clean or not, it has caused a buzz over there. It continues to buzz on Twitter, and I'm sure word has gotten out globally. Don't get me wrong, I love both Delta and Brian to death, but I feel that more facts need to be released to assure us of what actually happened. So let me ask you, do you think he did cause a disturbance? Or do you think someone was able to make a convincing claim that he did start something?
